Apply to be An Exhibiting Artist

Artists are categorized into four types – painters, sculptors, carvers and photographers. Subject matters accepted are all forms of waterfowl and wildlife, as well as landscapes, sporting art and maritime subjects—the rich diversity of nature. All work on display must be for sale. Artists are juried for admission and are re-evaluated every year. Artists from previous years will be notified if re-invited.

Apply To Be A New Exhibiting Artist

New Painters, Sculptors, Carvers and Photographers Are Encouraged to Apply in Winter of Each Year for the Show in November. New artist applications must be accompanied by at least five (5), but no more than ten (10) digital images uploaded via DropBox within application.

Please note that the quality of your images is very important. For example, poorly lighted and focused images and those including picture frames on paintings have a negative effect on the jurying process. Images must be of original works of art (no more than 2 images of any one piece). Be representative in subject matter, size, and price range of the artwork to be exhibited at the Festival. Artwork submitted will be used in Official Guide and marketing your participation in the Festival if you are chosen to exhibit.

We encourage all artists to bring items of ALL price ranges to appeal to more buyers. You may send images of work already sold. Use the description field here to submit information about the images that you upload. If accepted and the work brought to the show varies significantly, the Waterfowl Festival reserves the right to exclude it from the show. Once submitted we will redirect you to a payment link for your $50 application fee.

Be aware of the following before you apply:
