The Retriever Demonstrations are entertaining and amazing as these exceptionally skilled canines show off by leaping into a pond to fetch a thrown or hidden dummy.

You don’t have to be a hunter to appreciate the intelligence demonstrated by the retrievers and the training skills of their handlers who are members of the Talbot Retriever Club.

Bonnell “Bonnie” Chambers was a longtime advocate of purebred Labrador Retrievers, serving as a volunteer officer and board member of the Talbot Retriever Club.

She was also a longtime friend and volunteer of the Easton Waterfowl Festival. Bonnie, along with her husband Butch were instrumental in organizing and serving as co-chairs of the Festival’s Retriever Demonstration.

For years, Bonnie and Butch organized the event and entertained thousands of spectators, and in 2009, they were inducted into the Festival’s Hall of Fame for their tireless efforts.

Please join us in thanking and celebrating Bonnie’s commitment and contributions to Talbot Retrievers Club and the Festival’s Retriever Demonstration.

Moment of remembrance is scheduled on FRIDAY NOV 10 at 1pm at the Bay Street Ponds.
